Most of us have understood from day one that the Black Lives Matter movement was never about black lives.
Well, let’s put it this way…
It was never about the black lives that it claimed to be about.
The group was founded in 2013 by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi in the wake of the death of Trayvon Martin.
It became quite evident throughout the years that the founders were more focused on lining their own pockets rather than helping black Americans facing alleged systemic injustices.
This became increasingly evident in 2021 when it was revealed that Cullors purchased several high-end homes worth millions of dollars by using funds from BLM donations.
While Cullors frantically defended the purchases, it was the most clear sign that things weren’t as they seemed.
The optics of those funds going towards her own personal enrichment raised serious ethical questions about the organization.
Did Cullors really care though?
She cashed out following the controversy, ensuring her own financial future.
Since then, BLM has basically become a shell of its former self.
However, there are still people in the organization trying to make a quick buck at the expense of the people they claim to represent.
Enter BLM leader Hawk Newsome.
Following the acquittal of Daniel Penny, the heroic man who stepped up to defend his fellow subway passengers from violent career criminal Jordan Neely, Newsome did something even more heinous than anything we know about Cullors.
Newsome said before a large crowd that it was time for black vigilantes to begin choking and killing those who allegedly “oppress” black people.
Now if you know anything about BLM, then you know that he’s not talking about real oppression.
He’s of course talking about the fake media driven oppression that has lined the pockets of the BLM founders like Cullors.
Newsome is actively encouraging black men to physically assault or even kill those who disagree with him.
These comments reveal a few things about Hawk Newsome.
First of all, he’s a coward.
If he really felt the way that he’s pretending to, he would be willing to get his own hands dirty.
Instead, he’d rather sacrifice the lives of some impressionable black men into doing it for him.
It’s clear that the only black life that Hawk Newsome cares about is his own.
